Milton Phegley, AICP
Director - Community Planning
|
Milton J. Phegley is the Director of Community Planning. Since 1989, he has been responsible for the campus' external relations concerning land use, planning, housing, transportation and related matters. Milt's work with community planning groups, residential and institutional neighbors, and liaison with governmental agencies such as the City of San Diego, SANDAG, Caltrans, and San Diego Transit focuses on providing coordination and effective communications regarding on- and off-campus activities. Milt is a graduate of the Masters in City Planning Program at San Diego State University and an alumnus of Humboldt State University.

Anu Valecha-Delouri
Senior Community Planner

Anu Valecha-Delouri is UCSD's Senior Community Planner. She works on community planning matters involving land use, planning, housing, transportation, and community relations. Anu was previously an associate planner at UC-Berkeley where she was involved in a wide range of planning projects. Prior to her work at UC Berkeley Anu worked at the Pratt Instituite Center for Community and Environmental Development. Her prior work experience has included surge planning for seismic retrofit projects, community and urban planning for transportation and housing projects, demographic analysis and mapping, and the development of graphic and public presentation materials and brochures, newsletters, and handouts. Anu has an undergraduate degree in Architecture from BMS College of Engineering in Bangalore, India and a Masters Degree in City and Regional Planning from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York.
